Online dating feels frighteningly identical to job hunting.
I post a profile, aka: opening for a Significant Other.
Dudes review the ad, compose cover letters.
I read the letters, if they are good, I read their resume profiles too.
As a chick in Silicon Valley, it is an employer's market. Based on the applications I've reviewed, there is a noticeable shortage of demand... in the computer programming field.


Feeling overwhelmed by all of it, I asked S for advice.
Me: What do I do with all these messages?
S: Well, if you go on some dates, you can make a spreadsheet of all the free things you get.
Omg, S IS A GENIUS. (Interviews, here I come!)
